Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Keasbey, NJ is seeking a Utility Mechanic to keep our facility running safely and efficiently. You will execute and refine preventive maintenance plans and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.

You will work with boiler, chiller, air compression up to 600psi, HVAC, and you will rebuild spare parts, interpret manuals and schematics, while following safety and quality standards to protect equipment and people.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and refine preventive maintenance plans for building and production systems.
• Ensure continuous operation of utility infrastructure (boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions on equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate spare parts to minimize downtime.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics for troubleshooting.
