Job summary

Alex Lee is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance, upkeep, and contracts for MDI Management properties. Workweek runs Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm, with responsibilities spanning equipment operation, safety, and site improvements.

The role requires basic certification or the ability to become certified on forklifts and related equipment, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to high professional standards. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 0–1 year related experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High standard of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Certified or can become certified to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, etc.
• Follow safety principles including job site safety and PPE.
• Paint structures, use hand/power tools, repair tools/equipment, upkeep grounds.
• Fill in for Battery Changers as needed.
• Assist higher level technicians with SQF program maintenance.
• Assist in projects related to facilities maintenance.
• Attend and complete training as assigned by management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.

Overview

Major Functions: Responsible for maintenance, up-keep, and contracts for MDI Management properties.

Responsibilities

• Certified or can become certified to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, etc.
• Understands Safety principles in areas such as job site safety and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Paints structures, uses hand and power tools, repairs tools and equipment, and performs upkeep on grounds and landscaping.
• Fills in for Battery Changers when needed.
• Assist higher level technicians in maintaining the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program.
• Assist in any project related to maintaining the facilities.
• Attend and successfully complete any training as assigned by management.
• May be required to perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 0 to 1 year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High standard of integrity and professionalism.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able bend, twist, and lift to 70 lbs. and pass lifting test
