Utility & Maintenance Technician

Summary

The Utility & Maintenance Technician performs light maintenance duties around the facility. This person will also participate in general cleaning duties from time to time as assigned by the supervisor.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 1st shift (On Call off hours for emergencies)

Employment Details

Full Time with Benefits

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Job Duties

1. Inspect spaces daily to identify problems with litter, mechanical failure, or breakdowns
2. Respond to requests for maintenance services
3. Change lights
4. Perform small electrical and plumbing tasks, including faucet and valve repairs and replacements
5. Perform general fire & safety equipment inspections
6. Set up for meetings and special events
7. Perform other cleaning duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing work
• Willing to undergo a background check and drug screening as required by contractual obligations
