Job summary

City of Maypearl is seeking a full-time maintenance professional to join the water and wastewater division in Irving, TX. Responsibilities include leading crew members, answering public inquiries, and preparing reports while performing routine maintenance and repair of water and wastewater systems.

Candidate must hold a valid Class A CDL, and appropriate TCEQ licenses. A high school diploma or GED is required and a résumé must be submitted with the application.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of water/wastewater maintenance experience.
• Valid Class A CDL Texas driver's license.
• TCEQ Class C Water Distribution and Collection II Wastewater licenses or higher.
• Résumé must be submitted with application.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and safety guidance to crew members.
• Answer questions and provide information to the public and internal/external customers.
• Prepare a variety of reports and participate in daily operations of the assigned section.
• Operate and maintain water/wastewater systems and related equipment.
• Duties may include confined spaces work, high tower access, and vault entry when required.
