Job summary

Team Fishel in Rochester, PA is hiring a Utility Laborer to support projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. You will assist the crew safely, on time, and to customer specifications.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided, including on-the-job safety instruction and flagging certification, with opportunities for career development. Starting pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, with health insurance, a 401k, and profit sharing. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training available.
• Must follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects.
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach.
• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
• Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing).

Responsibilities

• Work safely as an essential part of our Team.
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor.
• Handle physically demanding construction duties in an outdoor environment.
• Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, shovel work, and operation of power tools.
• Be willing to learn career development skills related to utility construction; on-the-job training in safety, flagging, tool operation and maintenance provided.
• Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects).

Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Utility Laborers for our Rochester, PA based operation supporting projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. A Utility Laborer at Team Fishel will assist the crew in completing the project safely, on time, and meeting the customer specifications for quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor
• Handle physically demanding construction duties in an outdoor environment

• Be willing to learn career development skills related to utility construction, including the operation of equipment. Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must have the ability to work extended hours when needed
• At least 18 years old with High School diploma or GED equivalent

Starting pay range for this position is $18 - $24 / hour and will be commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
