Description

Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiringUtility Laborersfor our New Castle, PA operation. AUtility Laborer at Team Fishel will assist the crew in completing the project safely, on time, and meeting the customer specifications for quality. Starting pay range for this position is $17 - $20/ hour and will be commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Work safely as an essential part of our Team. Safety is our number one Core Value.
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor
• Handle physically demanding construction duties in an outdoor environment
• Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, shovel work, and in the operation of power tools
• Be willing to learn career development skills related to utility construction, including the operation of equipment. Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• No previous experience required, training available!
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach
• Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects
• Must be able to climb laddersMust have the ability to work extended hours when needed
• At least 18 years old with High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)
• Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects)
