Job summary

Team Fishel is hiring Utility Laborers for our Rochester, PA operation supporting projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. A Utility Laborer will assist the crew safely and efficiently to meet customer specifications for quality.

No previous experience is required as on-the-job training is provided. You will perform manual labor outdoors, lift heavy objects, and learn to operate basic tools, with opportunities for career development and certifications.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required, training available!
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach
• Must have the ability to work extended hours when needed
• At least 18 years old with High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)
• Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects)

• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor
• Handle physically demanding construction duties in an outdoor environment
• Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, shovel work, and in the operation of power tools
• Be willing to learn career development skills related to utility construction, including the operation of equipment. Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.

Starting pay range for this position is $18 - $24 / hour and will be commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
