Job summary

Team Fishel, based in Rochester, PA, is hiring Utility Laborers to support projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. As a Utility Laborer you will assist the crew to complete projects safely, on time, and to customer specifications.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. Applicants must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED, able to lift heavy objects, and willing to travel as needed. Starting pay is $18-$24 per hour, commensurate with skills.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training available.
• Must follow instructions.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach.
• Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must have the ability to work extended hours when needed.
• At least 18 years old with High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing).
• Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects).

• Handle physically demanding construction duties in an outdoor environment.
• Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, shovel work, and in the operation of power tools.
• Be willing to learn career development skills related to utility construction, including the operation of equipment; Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
