Morgantown Utility Board is hiring for a laborer/maintenance role in Morgantown, WV. The successful candidate will assist in daily operations of the distribution and maintenance departments, perform maintenance on water and sewer lines, and support field crews. CDL is required and on-call availability is expected.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old, have a valid CDL, and be able to work in all weather conditions. Hiring decisions are based on merit and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A or B CDL.
• Experience with water and sewer line maintenance preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work overtime and respond to emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in daily functions of distribution and maintenance departments.
• Cleans, organizes, and accounts for hand tools and equipment.
• Operate equipment such as electric snake and perform dye testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of water and sewer lines.
• Perform laborer work associated with installing water, storm, and sewer lines.
• Flagging traffic and hand shoveling.
• Work on-call hours as established by Department head.
• Other duties as assigned.
