Job summary

Exelon is seeking an engineer with design experience to develop layouts, drawings, and material lists for utility infrastructure projects. You will perform field engineering and coordinate with internal and external customers to meet project needs, including storm coverage when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required.
• TECH test completion required (engineering degree exempts TECH).
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
• Proficient CAD skills and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs, layouts, construction drawings, and bill of materials for complex utility infrastructure projects.
• Interpret and apply engineering standards and memos.
• Assist with technical consultation and plan developments for customer and company systems.
• Evaluate current design processes and participate on teams to improve designs.
