Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Utility Foreman to manage field crews in the Richmond, VA area, overseeing roadwork, stormwater, and sewer utility installations. You will ensure adherence to plans, timelines, and safety protocols while coordinating equipment, materials, and site logistics.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, ability to read blueprints, and OSHA-based supervision to keep projects on track and within budget.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with water/storm/sewer pipe installation, grading for roadways.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates crews on roadwork and utility installations.
• Ensures safety compliance, OSHA competencies, and proper PPE use.
• Plans sequences of activities, coordinates materials, equipment, and schedules to meet project goals.
