Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a seasoned on-site Construction Foreman to lead underground utilities projects in Ohio.

You will supervise skilled trades, coordinate crews, ensure safety, and partner with project teams to deliver on-time, within-budget outcomes for large highway and utility installations. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of field management, hands-on Journeyman experience, and strong abilities in line-and-grade, shoring, dewatering, and blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level progression through Foreman to Superintendent.
• 5+ years of field management in heavy civil/underground utilities.
• Roadway/highway experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Foreman to ensure safe, productive, quality work.
• Be a Safety 24/7 culture leader for crews.
• Assist PM/Superintendent in creating project schedules.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Oversee costs associated with work items and coordinate materials and manpower.
• Schedule subcontractors and coordinate heavy equipment and tooling.
• Train and develop team members for safety and productivity.
