Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Foreman/Superintendent to supervise skilled trades crews on large underground utility and heavy highway projects. You will coordinate pre-planning, safety, production, and quality across multiple crews, with accountability for schedule and cost control.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in field management, a Journeyman-to-Superintendent progression, and strong skills in line & grade, dewatering, and blueprint reading. This is a on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field management in heavy civil utilities.
• Experience with underground utilities and roadway projects preferred.
• Proven leadership in coordinating crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead Foreman to guide crews and ensure safety, productivity, and quality.
• Promote a Safety 24/7 culture on site.
• Assist Project Manager in creating and updating project schedules.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week crew schedules.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs for assigned work items.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, tooling, and materials.
• Schedule subcontractors and manage site coordination.
• Train and develop team members for safety and productivity.
