Responsibilities

• Assists customers at the counter, drive‑up window, and on the telephone.
• Establishes new accounts: accepts deposits and fees and provides information regarding utility system policies, procedures, and charges to customers.
• Collects payments from drop box.
• Enters payment and account data into the computer.
• Processes cut‑off and cut‑on work orders.
• Balances cash drawer on a daily basis.
• Accepts, receives, and/or collects payments.
• Opens, sorts, and distributes department mail.
• Verifies customer and service addresses.
