Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. (H&M) seeks a detail-oriented Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of power utility construction projects in New Jersey.

You will coordinate resources, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure safety, scope, and schedule compliance. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering, 2+ years in utility construction, familiarity with NESC and OSHA, and proficiency in MS Office; Primavera or Procore is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of construction project coordination experience.
• Familiarity with utility standards (NESC) and safety protocols (OSHA, DOT).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera or Procore is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule utility construction activities.
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and utility clients.
• Monitor budget, timelines, and variances; report findings and propose actions.
• Maintain contracts, permits, change orders, and daily reports.
• Assist with procurement, cost tracking, and invoices.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance; attend meetings.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
