Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of power utility construction projects.

You will coordinate resources, track budgets, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery with safety compliance. The ideal candidate has a degree in construction management or related field and 2+ years in utility project coordination, with familiarity of NESC codes and OSHA/DOT safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, preferably in utility infrastructure.
• Familiarity with utility standards (NESC) and safety protocols (OSHA, DOT).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera or Procore is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule utility construction activities and manage field coordination.
• Monitor progress, budget, and timelines; report variances and suggest corrective actions.
• Maintain contracts, permits, change orders, and daily reports for projects.
• Assist with procurement and ensure timely delivery to sites.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance across projects.
• Attend meetings and provide updates to stakeholders; coordinate closeout documentation.
