Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver power utility construction projects. You will manage field operations, scheduling, and documentation to ensure on-time, on-budget completion while maintaining safety standards across sites.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in utility construction coordination, familiarity with NESC/OSHA safety, and strong communication skills. Travel to project sites is required; PMP/OSHA 30 are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction management or engineering.
• 2+ years of construction project coordination experience.
• Familiarity with NESC codes and OSHA/DOT safety protocols.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Primavera or Procore a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule utility construction activities.
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and utility clients.
• Monitor progress, budget, timelines; report variances and recommend actions.
• Maintain contracts, permits, change orders, and daily reports.
• Help procure materials and ensure timely delivery to sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Attend project meetings and update internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Perform quality control inspections and assist with closeout documentation.
• Assist with cost tracking and project invoicing.
• Track performance using Earned Value Management for forecasts.
• Prepare financial and performance reports, including cost-to-complete.
