Job summary

Qualifications

Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Valid driver's license required.
DEQ Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector Certification or obtain within 18 months.

Responsibilities

Inspect construction projects and enforce city ordinances and standards.
Review project plans and related documents; verify compliance with codes.
Coordinate with contractors, property owners, developers, and engineers.
Test materials and oversee test results to ensure code compliance.
Prepare monthly estimates and maintain project records and reports.
Attend construction meetings and supervise on-site inspections.
Conduct site inspections for safety, erosion control, and right-of-way improvements.
