Job summary

Brevard County is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support accounting and financial records at the South Area / Barefoot Bay Utility Billing Office. The role handles creating, verifying, and maintaining customer account records and processes for service fees, deposits, and payments. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field; OR completion of a one year certificate program in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, plus one year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs experienced paraprofessional work creating, verifying, and maintaining customer account records; collecting, depositing, and recording fees for services; and resolving customer service issues.
