Plascore Inc. in Zeeland, MI is seeking an Aramid Division Utility Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:30 PM–10:30 PM). Training on 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6:30 AM–2:30 PM) for 4–6 weeks will be provided.

Starting wage is $22.58/hour on 2nd shift. Responsibilities include equipment startup, block trimming, overhead crane handling, packing, labeling, data entry, and quality checks. Overtime may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Startup/verify secondary equipment (dust collector) is operating.
• Check schedule and read work orders for next job.
• Load/unload blocks using overhead crane and trim with vertical band saw.
• Measure blocks with tape measure and stage for saw operators.
• Inspect blocks for quality and package materials to spec.
• Print/apply labels, enter data in computer system, maintain records.
• Monitor equipment, perform setup adjustments, and assist inventory checks.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and notify supervisor of needs.

As a Utility Operator you are a rover and will be assisting as necessary in preparing and expanding Nomex blocks to meet specifications, trimming blocks, staging blocks for the saw, and assisting with packing orders for shipment.***SIGN ON BONUS***$1200 FOR THIS ROLE ONLY.$100 EVERY 30 DAYS YOU WORK UNTIL 1 YEAR ($1200).Currently there is an opening for a Utility in our Aramid division on 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 10:30PM)***Training required on 1st shift (Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM for 4 to 6 weeks)***Aramid Utility Operator: Starting at $22.58 per hour on 2nd Shift.Key Responsibilities:Startup/verify secondary equipment (dust collector) is operating.Check schedule to determine next order to process.Read work order instructions and process specifications.Use overhead crane to load/unload Aramid blocks from saw table.Trim sides of blocks using a vertical band saw.Change saw blades and guides using small hand tools.Measure blocks using tape measure.Stage blocks for saw operators.Inspect blocks and slices for quality issues.Select and trim packaging materials to required size using handheld saw or cutting machine.Pack orders in corrugated or wood containers according to customer requirements.Print and apply labels to packaging.Complete associated paperwork.Enter process and work order information into computer system to maintain accurate records.Monitor equipment and make setup adjustments as necessary.Communicate with management representatives regarding any material or equipment concerns.Record production and scrap information on team board charts.Assist in performing quarterly inventory checks.Assist other departments as necessary.Maintain an inventory of supplies.
