Job summary

Plascore Inc. is seeking a Production Scheduling Assistant to support scheduling, record keeping, and clerical tasks for the Business Unit.

You will work with Customer Service and Supervisors to process and create ERP work orders, prepare work order packets, and maintain accurate records. The role emphasizes efficiency, quality, and value in delivery while supporting continuous improvement and a safe work environment.

As a Production Scheduling Assistant you will perform scheduling, record keeping and clerical responsibilities to support the Business Unit.Key Responsibilities:Perform scheduling function, working with Customer Service and Supervisors.Assist Scheduler in processing and creating work orders in the ERP system as well as other day-to-day projects as required.Prepare work order packets with all the required paperwork for manufacturing.Provide scheduling and inventory assistance.Maintain accurate record retention of completed work orders.Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality and Delivery by being efficient, productive, and careful.Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner.Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.Qualifications:A level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of high school in order to prepare records and reports, perform calculations, and deal effectively with others.Strong attention to detail.Additional Requirements:Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).Plascore is an established global manufacturer of honeycomb core, composite structures, and cleanrooms.
