Plascore Inc. in Zeeland, MI, seeks a Saw Operator for the Aramid division on 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10:30 PM–2:30 PM). You will set up and run a horizontal band saw, cut honeycomb material to spec, and inspect finished slices for quality.

The role includes equipment checks, label printing, data entry, and inventory tasks. A sign-on bonus of $1,200 is offered, with quarterly incentives tied to performance.

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with inventory as needed.

As a Saw Operator you will be using the appropriate saw to cut honeycomb material into designated shape and size to meet customer and company specifications. Inspect and prepare finished material for shipment.***SIGN ON BONUS***$1200 FOR THIS ROLE ONLY.$100 EVERY 30 DAYS YOU WORK UNTIL 1 YEAR ($1200).Currently there is an opening for a Saw Operator in our Aramid division on 3rd shift: (Sunday - Thursday 10:30PM to 2:30PM)Aramid Saw Operator: Starting at $22.29 per hour on 3rd Shift!Key Responsibilities:Startup/verify secondary equipment (vacuum blower, dust collector) is operating.Check schedule to determine next order to process.Read work order instructions and process specifications.Use overhead crane to load/unload Aramid blocks from saw table.Set up and run horizontal band saw to cut slices to specified thickness.Change saw blades and guides using small hand tools.Iron backing material onto blocks.Measure blocks and slices using tape measure and micrometer.Load slices into clean core machine to remove dust and measure slice thickness.Print label and tag individual slices.Inspect blocks and slices for quality issues.Complete associated paperwork.Enter process and work order information into computer system to maintain accurate records.Monitor equipment and make setup adjustments as necessary.Communicate with management representatives regarding any material or equipment concerns.Record production and scrap information on team board charts.Maintain an inventory of supplies.
