Job summary

Ohio CAT, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., seeks a hands-on technician to load/unload equipment, wash and inspect units, communicate damages, perform minor repairs, and conduct PM services. The role requires flexibility with shifts and strong communication with customers.

You will operate in all weather conditions and uphold safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with preferred technical education and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• A college degree or continued education in a technical field is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible/shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment safely onto and off of trucks and trailers.
• Wash equipment and inspect it; communicate damages when equipment is returned.
• Perform minor repairs and inspections, and PM services on equipment.
• Work in all weather; maintain organization and communication with customers.

Hours: 730am-4pm
Job Summary
This position will require the ability to load and unload equipment safely onto and off of trucks and trailers, wash equipment, inspect it, and communicate any damages when equipment is returned. Perform minor repairs/inspections and PM Services on the equipment, work in all weather types, have great organizational and communication skills, and can work with customers professionally and courteously.

Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this job include lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. and pulling up to 50 lbs. Standing, sitting, and climbing up and down stairs, as well as standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
