Job summary

Ohio Cat, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver parts to customers and drop sites within the territory, and to pull, pack, ship, and stock parts. You will perform warehouse duties, assist customers, and maintain accurate counts while building hydraulic hoses.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, a valid driver’s license, and warehouse experience, with strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and ability to obtain DOT Medical Card.
• Warehouse experience required.
• Ability to perform duties including counting, receiving/shipping, processing warranty items, and building hydraulic hoses.
• Assist with receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, and completing all paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers and drop sites within the territory.
• Pull and pack parts orders; ship, receive and stock parts.
• Prepare outgoing components for truck, common carrier, and shuttle.
• Perform warehouse duties including accurate counting, receiving and shipping of parts, maintaining stock, and handling warranty items.
• Provide superior customer service and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Job Summary

The Parts Specialist position will play a vital role in maintaining parts that are critical for our customers. You will be the primary parts delivery driver, delivering parts to customers and parts drop sites within the territory. You will also pull and pack parts orders, ship, receive and stock parts received via company shuttle, truck freight, and UPS and you will prepare outgoing components for our truck, common carrier, and shuttle. The Parts Specialist will be expected to perform all related warehouse duties, including providing superior customer service, accurate counting, receiving and shipping of parts, maintaining stock, accounting for warranty items, general housekeeping, and building hydraulic hoses.

Job Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record will be required, along with the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card if one is not currently possessed.
• Must have previous warehouse experience
• Must be able to perform basic duties including accurate counting, receiving/shipping parts, processing warranty items, and building hydraulic hoses.
• Must be able to assist with receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk in customers, and completing all paperwork.

• Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling
• Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.

• Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in a fast passed environment.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
