Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Utilities Technician to support City water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.

The role spans trainee to advanced levels, involving inspections, maintenance, and repairs of infrastructure, with CDL training provided and a requirement to obtain CDL within 12 months. The position requires flexibility for irregular hours and emergencies, with progression from Trainee to Technician II/Operator based on experience and training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; CDL or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Experience in maintenance, equipment operation, construction, plumbing, or related field encouraged.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with/perform CCTV inspections of sanitary and storm sewer lines.
• Assist with/perform regular and emergency line clearing and repairs.
• Maintain records for inspections, maintenance, and work activities.
• Respond to water main breaks, sewer backups, and customer inquiries.
• Operate and assist with heavy equipment and vehicles as trained.
