Job summary

INEOS Acetyls in Texas City seeks an Utilities Project & Safety Specialist to lead manufacturing project execution, perform vessel inspections and provide HSSE coaching. The role also acts as a process control board vacation relief and drives safety KPIs and incident investigations.

You'll train teams, coordinate with training on safety programs, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations while managing work notifications and permits during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of Operator experience in chemical manufacturing.
• 2+ years Console Operator experience or equivalent knowledge.
• Must possess or obtain a TWIC card prior to first day.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid US driver's license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing project execution and vessel inspections.
• Provide safety coaching and audit asset operations.
• Serve as process control board vacation relief.
• Meet SHE objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive safety KPIs and incident investigations with RCA/MOC.
• Coordinate with Training on safety-related operations training.
• Deliver high-quality work notifications and permit coaching.
