Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring a Plant Utilities Operator to maintain and monitor facility systems, including boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and water treatment. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and efficiency.

You will work the 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM shift with a 3-day weekend pattern every other week, and you may receive overtime. Benefits include 401(k), health plans, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical degree in HVAC/Applied Science preferred.
• 1+ year utilities operations experience (boilers, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration) - Ability to pass required medical and respirator tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain facility utility systems
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration, and water treatments
• Manage compressed air systems, RO units, and silo tank offloads
• Oversee cooling tower water treatment and pH neutralization
• Support fire protection and energy-management programs
