Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring a Utilities Maintenance Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain all facility utilities and support systems in a day shift. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous production of beverages and related products.

Responsibilities include maintaining boiler and refrigeration systems, air compression, RO and wastewater equipment, and energy management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of equivalent work experience in maintenance related area such as Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance or Electronics and/ or two-year technical degree preferred.
• At least one year experience in Utilities operations (boilers, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration); food industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Starts, stops, operates, monitors, and maintains all utilities and operational support systems.
• Plans and completes preventive and corrective maintenance of facility and office equipment, including boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and cooling systems.
• Maintain air compression systems, RO system, wastewater equipment, and cooling towers.
• Coordinate energy management systems, fire protection systems, and plan maintenance activities.
• Manage work orders and develop daily checklists and preventive maintenance programs.
