City of Rosenberg seeks a Maintenance & Operations Utilities worker to perform meter readings, taps installations, and routine maintenance on water and sewer infrastructure. You will operate field equipment, assist with repairs, and document tasks while following safety rules and procedures.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant Class D/ I certifications, with opportunities for progression through the M&O series based on certifications and performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Class D Water Treatment Certification is required.
• Class I Wastewater Collection Certification is required.
• Certification progression within two years with promotion
• Two or more certifications are required for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Read meters and record measurements.
• Install water/sewer taps and perform related maintenance.
• Operate equipment for construction and maintenance of utilities.
• Respond to emergencies and service outages.
• Document work orders and safety compliance.
