• Bachelor's degree in public administration, engineering, environmental science, natural resources, construction management, business administration, or closely related field; five years of progressively responsible municipal water or wastewater utility experience, including three years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive leadership for the City's water and wastewater utilities and directs planning, budgeting, and operations across water supply, distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, and related systems.
• Manages operating and capital budgets, regulatory compliance, asset-management, and emergency response to ensure reliable, safe, and environmentally compliant utility services.
• Oversees operation, maintenance, and performance of potable water distribution, wastewater systems, and related infrastructure to protect public health and the environment.
• Plans, assigns, and evaluates the work of utility staff and contractors to maintain service levels and safety.
• Represents the City in negotiations, regulatory matters, and coordination with engineering, consultants, developers, and external agencies.
