Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Utilities Manager to supervise a technical team delivering preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational support to account staff. You will lead staffing, coaching, and performance evaluations, while ensuring compliance with procedures and strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes leadership, organizational skills, and collaboration across departments to optimize operations and drive CBRE’s service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring and rewarding performance.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information and set performance expectations.
• Strong leadership to motivate team and drive quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and analytical/math skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and monitor training and development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching; oversee recruiting and hiring.
• Coordinate daily team activities, set schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff and track deadlines.
• Maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Manage profits and losses for the department or division.
• Develop goals and initiatives to direct the department's course.
• Guide managers in implementing company policies.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues in processes.
• Ensure business operations align with established procedures.
