West Monroe invites driven students to join our Utilities Practice as Interns. You will work with senior consultants on strategy, technology evaluation, and process optimization across OT, IT systems, and renewables.

The role includes change management, client workshops, and contributing to thought leadership while partnering with cross-functional teams. You will gain exposure to AI tools to accelerate analysis, with mentorship and opportunities to interact with senior executives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation window of Dec 2027–Jul 2028.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future (OPT/H‑1B/TN).
• Reside within 50 miles of the assigned office and participate in a hybrid work model.
• Willingness to travel Mon–Thu up to 50% with travel expenses covered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in strategy development for utility initiatives covering OT, telecom, customer-facing software, IT systems, and renewables.
• Analyze current-state processes and support optimization efforts.
• Support project leadership in workshops, requirements gathering, and presenting deliverables to stakeholders.
• Assist in driving change management for large utility programs.
• Collaborate to apply lessons learned and best practices to improve client service.
• Contribute to business development activities through proposals and client engagements.
• Engage in AI and technology initiatives to accelerate analysis and insights.
