Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a Utilities Clerk at Store 079 in Houston-Westheimer to support Produce and assist customers on the floor. The role includes bagging groceries, carrying out groceries on request, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Ideal candidates read/write Spanish/English, interact well with the public, and can lift up to 60 pounds. Basic PC/Outlook skills and a Retail Management Certificate are a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, labels and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively to customers and employees.
• Follow written or oral instructions with common sense.
• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 60 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper store maintenance, especially Produce Department and help customers on the floor.
• Bag groceries and carry out groceries when requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; manage carts, price checks, go-backs, and checkout upkeep.
• Support with parking lot waste removal and general store operations.
• Adapt to a fast-paced grocery environment with physical requirements.
