Job summary

Fiesta Mart is hiring a Utilities Clerk at Store 037 Houston-Bellfort to support store operations and assist customers on the floor, especially in Produce. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, helping with carts, and performing price checks as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish and English; interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers on the store floor and in the Produce Department.
• Bag groceries for customers and carry groceries when requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Retrieve and return store carts.
• Run price checks, assist with go-backs and check stand upkeep.
• Remove waste from parking area.
