Job summary

Fiesta Mart is hiring a Utilities Clerk at 079 Houston-Westheimer to support store operations in a fast-paced supermarket environment. The role involves helping customers, bagging groceries, and maintaining clean, safe store conditions.

Applicants should be bilingual (Spanish/English) with strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Previous retail experience and PC/Outlook familiarity are a plus. This is a on-site position in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Read and write in Spanish and English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25–60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper store maintenance, especially in Produce; help customers on the floor.
• Bag groceries for customers when needed and carry out groceries upon request.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; retrieve carts and remove waste from the parking area.
• Run price checks, assist with go-backs and check stand upkeep.
