Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston is seeking a Utilities Clerk (ages 16-17) to help maintain the store, assist customers on the floor, and support the Produce Department as needed.

You will bag groceries, carry out groceries when asked, and help keep aisles clean and safe. Candidates should read/write Spanish and English and be able to lift up to 60 pounds. This is a fast-paced, team-friendly role.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence and present information to customers.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and work in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper store maintenance and help customers on the floor as needed.
• Bag groceries and carry out groceries for customers when requested.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks and assist with go-backs.
• Support check stand upkeep and remove waste from the parking area.
