Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston is seeking a part-time Utilities Clerk (ages 16-17) to support store operations, bag groceries, assist customers, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment.

You will work in Produce and on the store floor, with tasks including cart retrieval, price checks, go-backs, and basic cashier duties when needed.

Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English and physical stamina are valued; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Read and write simple instructions, product pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Provide basic customer assistance and support in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Produce Department and on the sales floor as needed.
• Properly bag groceries and, when requested, carry groceries for customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; retrieve store carts and run price checks.
