Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a Utilities Clerk at Store 041 Houston‑W Mt Houstonston. You will support Produce and assist customers on the floor, bag groceries, and carry out duties to keep the store clean and safe. You’ll help with carts, price checks, go-backs, and check stand upkeep, ensuring efficient daily operations.

The role requires reading/writing in Spanish and English, basic PC/Outlook skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Join a team focused on community, service, and value.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product pricing codes, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but uninvolved instructions.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25–60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the Produce Department and help customers on the store floor.
• Bag groceries for customers and carry out groceries when requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety at all times; perform general store upkeep.
• Retrieve and organize store carts; conduct price checks and assist with go-backs.
• Support check stand upkeep and help remove waste from the parking area.
