Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston is seeking a Utilities Clerk (ages 16-17) to support store operations, especially in Produce. You will bag groceries, assist customers, and help keep the store clean and safe.

Responsibilities include cart retrieval, price checks, go-backs, checkout upkeep, and waste removal in the parking area. The role is on-site and part-time, with opportunities to learn in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple labels, instructions, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly to customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in store maintenance, especially in the Produce Department.
• Bag groceries for customers and carry out groceries when needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Retrieve and organize store carts; assist with price checks and go-backs.
• Support check stand upkeep and remove waste from the parking area.
