Job summary

ASM Global is seeking personable, guest-oriented staff to assist attendees at events in Toledo. You will greet guests, scan tickets, answer questions, help locate seats, and enforce entry rules with courtesy and professionalism.

Responsibilities include assisting guests with disabilities, maintaining safe, clean aisles, addressing questions and complaints, and guiding guests to safety if needed. You will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision.

• Monitor aisles and steps to keep them clear and safe.
• Proactively address questions, difficulties, or complaints from guests.
• Resolve complaints, escalate to Supervisors when needed, and identify emergencies.
• Remain calm and direct guests to safety during emergencies.
• Maintain clean, debris-free seating sections and check for lost articles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enthusiastically greet guests and provide event information.
• Scan guest tickets, answer questions, assist guests with locating their seats, examine tickets for entry to various locations around the venue, and refuse admittance to guests without a ticket.
• Assist all needs for guests with disabilities including ticketing, entrance/exiting, seating, and other ADA compliance accommodations as needed.
• Monitor aisles / steps in assigned section to be kept clear and compliant with fire codes.
• Proactively approach guests that may have questions, difficulty, or a complaint.
• Creatively resolve complaints and/or problems; notify Supervisors if problems cannot be resolved.
• Identify and respond to emergencies; involve Supervisors as appropriate.
• Remain calm and direct guests to the designated area of safety in the event of an emergency.
• Ensure sections are always clean and clear of debris.
• Check seating for lost articles.
• Adhere to the dress code and present yourself in a profession, friendly, and approachable manner.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Tasks are performed with moderate supervision.
• Walking & standing occurs 95% of the time (6-8 hours per shift).
• Employees may be assigned to work positions located outside.
• Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later.
• Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment.
• Employee should use precautions & follow safety guidelines.
