Job summary

The Sports Facilities Companies is seeking an Usher for Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, TX. This part-time, non-exempt position supports the EVENTS department by guiding guests to seats and assisting with venue operations during events.

The role requires a friendly, punctual team member who can learn the venue layout, assist ADA guests, and maintain safety and order throughout events. Training is provided, and the position is on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be outgoing and provide exceptional customer service.
• Must be able to adhere to a schedule, arrive on time for events and stay for the duration of events.
• Must be able to successfully complete provided on-the-job training.
• Ability to learn venue layout and operating guidelines.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and assists them in finding their seats.
• Assists guests with locating exits and amenities such as restrooms and food & beverage locations.
• Assists ADA guests or other guests with special needs to and from their seats.
• Ensures walkways, aisles and seating areas are clean and free of debris.
• Calmly assists with disputes involving tickets and seats.
• Assists with guest complaints or concerns and reports to management.
• Monitors events for unruly behavior and reports to management.
• Watches for safety or security issues and reports to management.
• Assist and transport guests around the facility during events.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary

The Usher will safely and courteously escort venue guests to their seats and will assist with the operation of events.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Greets guests and assists them in finding their seats
• Assists guests with locating exits and amenities such as restrooms and food & beverage locations
• Assists any ADA guests or any other special needs to and from their seats
