Job summary

The Minnesota Orchestra is seeking part-time ushers to facilitate a positive audience experience at Orchestra Hall. You will uphold service standards, share information on policies, and help train fellow ushers while supporting the Audience Services Management Team on department tasks.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old with strong English communication, prior customer service experience, and a background in music or the arts. On-site work with varied shift times.)

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Strong verbal English communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Background in music and/or the arts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer service and audience experience at Orchestra Hall.
• Explain seating and event information to patrons.
• Assist with training and mentoring of other ushers.
• Support management with department projects.
• Maintain up-to-date information on programs and policies.
