Job summary

The Minnesota Orchestra is seeking a part-time Audience Services Concessions Associate to ensure friendly, efficient service at Orchestra Hall bars, carts, and events. You will supervise part-time staff, maintain POS transactions, mentor team members, and uphold departmental standards of advocacy and courtesy while delivering accurate information to guests and supporting special event operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
• Serv Safe or Alcohol Awareness training preferred; renewal required.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred; bi-annual renewal.
• Organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise part-time Concessions staff and delegate tasks.
• Maintain POS transactions and ensure accurate banks.
• Train and mentor Concessions team members.
• Lead staff at Express Bars, merchandise carts, and events.
• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
• Enforce policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support Audience Services management on projects and events.
