A leading company in healthcare seeks a UX Researcher to enhance the patient experience through user-centered design. The role involves planning and conducting research initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and advocating for user needs. This remote position requires strong communication skills and a background in HCI or related fields.
We believe design can make healthcare a more human experience. As a UX Researcher, you'll help us move the healthcare ecosystem forward for patients and providers through accessible, inclusive, and thoughtful design. You’ll be responsible for planning and conducting research initiatives that inform and validate design decisions, contributing to the overall growth and success of the design team.
This is a remote role open to candidates in the US and will report to the Senior Director of Product Design.
You’re excited about this position because you will:
Plan and conduct a variety of research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, contextual inquiries, and diary studies
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify research needs, refine product requirements, and advocate for user-centered solutions
Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and share them through clear and engaging deliverables such as personas, journey maps, research reports, and presentations
Build and maintain a repository of user research insights to enable knowledge sharing across the organization
Contribute to the design team’s success by validating design concepts and identifying opportunities for innovation through user research
Advocate for the voice of the customer and help educate stakeholders on the value of UX research in decision-making
We’re excited about you because you have:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field
5-7+ years of experience conducting research at product-led organizations
Proven experience with a range of research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, and expertise in applying them to inform design decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate research findings into a compelling narrative
Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
Deep curiosity and interest about healthcare
Familiarity with and experience working within Agile development methodology
Fluency in tools such as Figma, Miro, Qualtrics, or similar platforms
Proficiency in Google Suite
You’ll stand out if you have:
Previous work history in healthcare, health and wellness, or health-tech products
Experience with advanced research methodologies, including participatory design, diary studies, or mixed-method approaches
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate research into the product lifecycle effectively
Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools to integrate quantitative insights into research findings
