Job summary

Haag Ford Sales in Lawrenceburg, IN is seeking a motivated Used Vehicle Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition pre-owned cars before they are offered for sale. You will work closely with the Used Vehicle Manager and Service Department to meet reconditioning timelines and ensure high standards.

Applicants should have automotive technician experience, strong diagnostic and repair skills, and the ability to perform quality work efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to perform quality work in a timely manner.
• Valid driver''s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• Ford experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and safety concerns.
• Diagnose and repair used vehicle issues efficiently and accurately.
• Complete reconditioning work including brakes, suspension, steering, drivability, and maintenance repairs.
• Perform oil changes, tire services, and routine maintenance.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections according to dealership standards.
• Document repairs and recommendations accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work closely with the Used Vehicle Manager and Service Department to meet reconditioning timelines.
