Job summary

Faricy Ford in Canon City, CO is seeking a dependable Used Car Technician to join the service team. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair used vehicles to ensure they are safe and ready for resale.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, be able to work independently or with a team, and hold a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is a plus but not required for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience working on used vehicles or dealership reconditioning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-point inspections on used vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, tires, and fluid services.
• Repair and replace defective vehicle components as needed.
• Identify reconditioning needs to prepare vehicles for resale.
• Use diagnostic scanners and automotive tools to troubleshoot problems.
• Ensure all work meets dealership quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate repair needs and recommendations to the service manager.
