TransChicago Truck Group is seeking a Used Truck Sales Representative to expand our Used Truck sales across locations while maintaining a customer-focused approach. The role requires prospecting new customers, database management, and coordination with service, financing, and insurance teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong sales experience in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of trucks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong experience in a fast-paced sales environment; experience selling commercial trucks preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required. Class B CDL and DOT medical card is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers as directed by management.
• Maintain client and prospect databases.
• Complete truck paperwork using dealership systems tools.
• Coordinate service work with the service department.
• Coordinate financing and insurance with relevant departments.
• Attend floor days, meetings and other scheduled times to run the sales department.
• Meet performance criteria set by Sales Manager.

We’re searching for a Used Truck Sales Representative to help us continue growing our Used Truck sales business across our locations while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Prospect for new customers in a manner prescribed by management.
• Maintain client and prospect databases.
• Follow departmental procedures in completing truck paperwork using available systems tools.
• Coordinate service work with the service department.
• Coordinate financing and insurance with the appropriate departments.
• Coordinate with supervisor and be available for assigned floor days, required meetings and other appointed times consistent and required to conduct and maintain sales department business.
• Meet established performance criteria as determined by Sales Manager.

Skills & Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Strong experience in a fast-paced sales environment; experience selling commerial trucks preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required. Class B CDL and DOT medical card is preferred.
• Knowledgeable about truck specifications.
• Familiarity with accounting and other computer software as needed for dealership operations.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation:$30,000 base salary plus commission on used truck sales.
