Bass Pro Shops in Prattville, AL seeks a Team Lead for the Used Firearms area. You will oversee buying, selling, and customer service for pre-owned firearms, manage inventory, and ensure ATF compliance during transfers.

The role requires 2-4 years of experience, 21+ years old, and strong negotiation and firearms knowledge. You’ll train Outfitters, drive monthly sales, and maintain high standards of integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2-4 years experience
• Must be 21 years of age
• Safely handle firearms
• Knowledge of purchasing firearms by either working in the firearms industry or collecting firearms
• Good understanding of retail and a knowledge of computers

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and appraises used firearms with knowledge of fair market values.
• Initiates all 4473 forms with customers and conducts final checks for transfers.
• Maintains inventory through daily buying and sourcing leads.
• Complies with Local, State, and Federal firearms regulations as ATF FFL dealer.
• Conducts monthly ATF compliance audits and company audits.
• Merchandises used firearms and coordinates with merchandising teams.
