Job summary

Penske Motor Group owns Longo Toyota of Prosper, the fastest growing dealership in the DFW area, and is seeking a Used Car Technician to diagnose, repair, and inspect vehicles on-site at Toyota of Prosper in Prosper, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better; AS in mechanical technology or automotive vocational training preferred.
• At least one year of automotive experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English; pass safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety inspections on vehicles from auctions or guest trade-ins.
• Diagnoses causes of malfunctions and performs repairs per estimates.
• Repairs vehicles per manufacturer and dealership standards; road tests after work.
• Communicates additional work requests and estimates to Service Managers.
• Maintains organized workspace and proper tool condition.
