Penske Motor Group is seeking a Used Car Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles at Toyota of Prosper in Prosper, TX. The role includes inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles from auctions or guest trade-ins, followed by road-testing to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AS in mechanical technology or automotive vocational school preferred.
• At least one year automotive experience.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and read English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections on vehicles from auctions or guest trade-ins.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs per estimates and standards.
• Road test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Document all work and communicate additional work needs.
• Maintain an organized workspace and proper tool care.
